11th Day of our Trip

Today we went to the capitol building of Rhode Island in Providence, Cape Cod, and two beaches on Cape Cod. At the beach we all had a great time wading in the Atlantic Ocean, and getting wet and sandy. MGH and I enjoyed "jumping" over the waves, which sometimes was difficult when the waves were up to my thighs. We would then jump out of the waves as they receded. We particularly enjoyed teasing a little girl about losing our toes in the sand. After we went to the beach, GJH saw a lobster and clam bake with a really long line, so using her deductive reasoning, she decided that we should eat there because the food must be really good. She was right. The lobster was fantastic, the legs were the best part, and the onion rings were fabulous. MGH disgusted us all by eating the lobster liver and then going on and on about how good it was. (*shudder*) After eating dinner, MGH and I got slaphappy and laughed ourselves silly in the car on the way to the motel. All in all, it was a really good day.
