Here are the promised pictures of the giant pig of Dothan. This is located on the ring road around the city. As to the caption of save the pig, you could hear the operation of the scrap yard from directly behind the pig. Maybe the inference is that if the company doesn't get enough other business, then the pig will be next. ERH

How do you guys find all these things when you go on vacation? Is there some list of tiny city blocks and giant steel swine that you refer to? Our trips seem to mostly highlight interstate off-ramps.

We look for these kinds of things and often just find them on our own. For this trip, Evan found a website that lists unusual places to visit on road trips.
